We are looking to hire a Director, Global Supply Chain Sustainabilityto join our Global Supply Chain team. This position will be based at McCormick's global headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland and will be eligible to participate in our hybrid work program (50% onsite, 50% remote per month). Alternatively, the position may be filled at McCormick's sites in Haddenham or Littleborough, UK.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Director, Global Supply Chain Sustainability will set strategic direction, goals and standards for the Supply Chain that balance business risks, customer expectations and meets compliance requirements. The incumbent will anticipate future trends and provide leadership and support to the Supply Chain operation as well as it relates to sustainability and will be responsible for overseeing that the Purpose-Led Performance (PLP) programs are implemented effectively, and operations are following sustainability laws and regulations. 10-20% travel required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as the Purpose-led-Performance Goal Lead for Global Supply Chain goals, including reducing scope 1 & 2 emissions in line with our net zero commitment by 2050, reducing global facility-level water usage, and reducing global facility-level waste.
• Provide Global Supply Chain leadership to regional leads/resources to develop a detailed goal roadmap that includes annual targets, planned milestones, key activities, and owners by region
• Partner with the Corporate Environmental & Sustainability Director to manage customer sustainability requests (i.e. questionnaires, surveys, audits, etc.) for the Supply Chain facilities.
• Prepare and deliver updates to the PLP Governing Council, including goal progress and risks to achievement, in partnership with the Global PLP Program Director
• Serve as the internal knowledge lead for sustainability initiatives for the Global Supply Chain

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS in Engineering, Science, Business, or relevant discipline
• Program/project management knowledge and experience, interest in sustainability and ability to collate/analyze data
• The agility to work globally considering the regional differences in cultures and work practices.
• Demonstrated history of effectively coordinating conflicting priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
• The ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate multiple workstreams toward a common objective.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Record of achievement in using effective influence and communication skills with individuals at all levels and functions.
• The ability to develop key metrics and objectively monitor progress.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified Project Manager
• Experience in food industry manufacturing
