Job Title: Director of Finance, Flavors & Fragrances (F&F)
Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer
Location: Norwood, New Jersey / Atlanta, Georgia

Opportunity to join a rapidly growing organization, (organically and inorganically), with a newly created Director of Finance role. Dynamic leader needed to oversee the financial planning and operations while developing a world-class organization. This person will serve as the head of the finance team for the Flavors and Fragrances (F&F) business, a unit of the Tilley Phoenix Group. The Director of Finance will be a key partner to functional leaders while establishing clear financial analytics aligning with the broader financial organizational goals. This role will collaborate extensively with the CFO to develop a scalable financial platform and support the growth plans of the Company. Serves as a key advisor to the F&F leadership team in operational finance matters. Ability to get into the details but also possess a strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Establish the strategic direction for the F&F finance team and align with the Company’s overall business objectives
- Define and implement departmental goals / KPIs / policies / procedures
- Manage and develop the finance team to drive continuous improvement and automation
- Lead the close process to ensure the integrity of the financial statements and compliance with U.S. GAAP and other statutory requirements
- Prepare accurate and timely consolidated financial statements, monthly / quarterly / annually
- Experience with material and labor variances and the ability to find and articulate reasons for variances with management to drive improvements
- Monitor GAAP standards / regulatory requirements and ensure compliance and implementation of any updates
- Drive productivity and simplification initiatives within the department as well as ancillary processes in the close cycle, i.e., order to cash and inventory transactions
Experience / Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in leadership roles
- Previous Plant Controller/ manufacturing or corporate finance experience required
- Management of a team
- Emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
- Analytical and process improvement mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Pro-active and transparent communication style
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business
