Job Description:
The Director of Field Marketing will be responsible for leading the East field and Public Sector marketing teams - both high growth and high priority areas within the overall Americas business. The Director will be tasked with developing and executing local and regional marketing strategies, and ensuring the alignment of marketing efforts with the company's business goals for our Federal and East regions in North America.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Field Marketing strategy aligned with the company's vision and business objectives.
- Define local and regional marketing objectives, target audiences, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
- Identify the right marketing mix to achieve strategic goals including digital, ABM, events, local programs, partner programs, and more.
- Ensure alignment between Field Marketing and overall marketing efforts.
Regional Market Presence:
- Drive and enhance the company's regional market presence through Field Marketing campaigns, programs and events.
- Establish and refine regional market positioning, value propositions, and brand visibility.
- Lead competitive analysis and industry trend monitoring at the regional level.
Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute localized marketing campaigns in collaboration with regional sales teams and cross-functional marketing partners, aligned with core business and marketing objectives.
- Build and launch ABM specific programs and activities in East and Public Sector territories.
- Closely monitor local campaign performance and provide insights for optimization.
Partnerships and Community Engagement:
- Identify local partnerships and community engagement opportunities to enhance brand recognition.
- Foster a sense of partner and community involvement and support for the company.
Content and Collateral:
- Oversee the creation of localized marketing content and collateral.
- Ensure that local content aligns with the overall brand message and values.
- Collaborate with content creators to produce high-quality local materials.
Budget Management:
- Manage the Field Marketing budget for local and regional initiatives.
- Allocate resources effectively to achieve marketing objectives.
- Track and report on expenses related to Field Marketing campaigns.
Team Leadership:
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Field Marketing team.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive and innovative work environment within the Field Marketing department.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Ideally based in New York City, Washington D.C., Boston or surrounding areas.
- 10+ years of experience in Field Marketing, regional marketing, or related roles, with at least 4 years in leadership positions.
- Strong knowledge of Field Marketing strategies, regional market positioning, ABM, digital and local campaign development and execution.
- Exceptional executive presence, strategic thinking, leadership skills, and communication - both written and oral.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with a wide variety of cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management and analytical skills.
- High proficiency in marketing technology and analytics tools; Marketo and Salesforce skills are required.
