Enterprise IT (EIT) is an essential component of the current IT division that provides support to the Pharmaceutical Research, Supply Chain, Marketingorganizations as well as Enabling Functions.
With a digital first mindset that informs, inspires, and engages employees globally, the EIT Communications and Change Management Lead plays a critical role in demonstrating our customer/business-centric approach, proactively driving integrated strategic communications, visibility and value realization of key IT initiatives. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding our organization through a transformative journey as we adopt a product model mindset to better serve our customers.
As the IT Communications and Change Management Lead you will be responsible for:
  • Leading the EIT communications capability, ensuring our company and EIT employees stay informed and engaged with the overall IT strategy and initiatives
  • Leading the Change Management capability, ensuring value realization of our EIT strategy and initiatives
  • Leading a team of EIT Communications and Change Management professionals
  • Promote a culture within EIT of stronger communications between leaders, teams and with our customers

Leadership & Partnership
  • Digital-first mindset that informs, inspires, and engages employees globally.
  • Creation of an executive visibility plan to enable the organization to know get to know leadership.
  • Leads our Value Teams to be customer centric and drive best practices, working in partnership across EIT areas, listening and co-creating
  • Collaborates with EIT leadership and partners to establish core positioning, cases for change and team narrative to build, embed, communicate and execute strategic Communications and Change Management plans
  • Raise awareness of digital impact and value
  • Partner with Strategy Realization to ensure communications align with overall IT strategy, messaging, and branding
  • Focus on defining measurable outcomes and success metrics
  • Partner with social media to ensure our leaders have a voice amongst the industry (e.g. LinkedIn)

Strategic Communications
  • Develop value team narratives to be leveraged to help tell the story of the evolving EIT business.
  • Promote a shared sense of purpose by proactively finding story telling opportunities that align to our company strategy and business outcomes, with a digital and EIT lens
  • Guide the EIT Leadership Team on complex, sensitive, business-critical, and cultural communications
  • Build and execute communications strategies for our Company Enterprise IT, in partnership with the broader communications team
  • Develop and maintain an integrated strategy and view of planned communications for our Company EIT
  • Develop and maintain a framework for monitoring the success of communication efforts
  • Lead the EIT communications community and share communication best practices

Change Management
  • Serve as a curator of culture, helping to drive change and transformation
  • Ensure understanding and adoption of common framework and standards related to Change Management, communication processes, or process improvements.
  • Serve as a thought leader in Change Management methodology, providing coaching to support organizational change and value realization
  • Assess, develop, and implement Change Management strategies and plans that ready the organization by anticipating and minimizing resistance and business disruption, maximizing engagement that drives faster adoption and higher proficiency on the changes impacting employees
  • Plan and support the team to deliver core activities related to stakeholder assessment, change impacts, readiness assessments, communications, training, and sustainability of the change

Required Skills:
  • 15+ years' experience in Corporate Communications, Change Management, or related field
  • Personal accountability, autonomy, leadership, teaming, and organizational skills to drive and track IT's success
  • Experience with developing, implementing, and communicating a clear vision and strategy to all levels of management, including senior leaders
  • Plan, lead and implement successful large-scale transformations in an ambiguous, fast paced environment, with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Manage and develop cross-functional teams
  • Lead Communications and Change strategies in conjunction with modern IT delivery methods (e.g., agile, waterfall, DevSecOps etc.) to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Tailor and deliver communications for specific audiences demonstrating a deep understanding of stakeholder needs

Preferred Skills:
  • IT and digital expertise
  • Business and IT strategy formulation, digital transformation, and business case development
  • Experience in brand management, crisis management and online reputation management
  • Experience leading teams through navigating fast paced and ambiguous situations
  • Manage data and produce insights from large datasets

Education Requirements:
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, computer science, information technology, management information systems or related discipline

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. Under New York State, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$159,200.00 - $250,700.00
