The Director of Digital Marketing is a key player within the Digital Marketing & Growth team, responsible for developing and driving the execution of a variety of Digital Marketing strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of paid media channels, creative development, and lifecycle marketing to deliver innovative and impactful campaigns.

How You'll Shine:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive paid media strategies for several of our brands across various channels, including but not limited to search, display, social media, and programmatic advertising. (25% time)

  • Develop and execute customer lifecycle marketing strategies to drive engagement, retention, and upsell opportunities. (25% time)

  • Utilize data-driven insights to create personalized and targeted messaging throughout the customer journey, such as implementing A/B testing and other optimization techniques to enhance the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives. (20% time)

  • Optimize campaigns to achieve performance goals, including customer acquisition, conversion rates, and return on investment (ROI). (10% time)

  • Lead the creative development process, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to produce compelling and on-brand digital content. Ensuring creative alignment with overall marketing objectives and brand guidelines. (10% time)

  • Continually stays informed on the latest Digital Marketing innovations and communicate the potential value of those innovations to the business while partnering with internal stakeholders to implement leading practices and drive efficiencies and effectiveness across the program. (10% time)

  • 10% Travel: Includes travel to agencies and corporate office locations as well as some attendance of conferences to stay abreast of trends in the marketplace and visits to our digital partners. 

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelors Degree in Sales/Marketing or business related field, MBA a plus

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to successfully communicate both verbally and in writing.

  • Demonstrate sound business judgment and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines.

  • Expertise building relationships and partnering across a matrix organization.

  • Proven leadership, development, and coaching skills.

  • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive Digital Marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals.

  • Comprehensive understanding of various Digital Marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, programmatic, content marketing and others.  

  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective lifecycle marketing strategies.

  • Deep understanding of e-commerce platforms and understanding of online sales funnels and conversion optimization.

  • Knowledge of brand development, management, and creative execution within the digital landscape.

  • Skill in measuring and reporting on the ROI of Digital Marketing efforts

  • 10+ years of marketing experience

  • 3+ years of running an online channel with responsibility for driving conversions.

  • Travel/Hospitality experience a plus

Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
