Job Summary

The Director Demand Generation will be responsible for leading, Develop and execute comprehensive paid and organic search strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth in an optimized way and report to the Sr Digital Director. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of e-commerce trends, digital marketing strategies, and retail partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance our online presence, optimize our relationship with digital retailers, and drive revenue growth. 

Responsibilities

•Develop and execute comprehensive paid and organic search strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth in an optimized way.
•Understand customer journeys from media buy to onsite experience and overall performance across paid media campaigns and their impacts to digital sales
•Cross-functional collaboration with media and marketing to deliver seamless digital experiences.
•Lead a team of search specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
•Manage and optimize paid search campaigns across various platforms, ensuring ROI and KPI targets are met.
•Conduct market research and stay abreast of industry trends to enhance campaign effectiveness.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align paid search efforts with overall marketing objectives.
•Analyze data and metrics to provide actionable insights, refining strategies for continuous improvement.
•Implement testing methodologies to enhance ad performance and drive innovation.
•Stay informed about search engine algorithms and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
•Proven experience in paid search management, with a track record of successful campaign execution.
•Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
•In-depth knowledge of search engine marketing platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.) and analytics tools with a specialty in Adobe analytics for onsite metric performance
•Understand website metrics and best practices.
•Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable conclusions.
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
•Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate the evolving landscape of digital marketing.

Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with 2 years in a leadership role
•Proven track record in the digital space including:

  • experience leading a digital team responsible for building and maintaining websites that drive sales
  • experience working across different functions related to the digital space including ecommerce, marketing, SEM, SEO, social media, mobile development, web development, analytics, CRM and user experience
  • experience delivering effective and innovative digital strategies across the digital landscape

•Familiarity with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics and other platforms
•Experience with AB testing tools such as Optimizely, Adobe Target and Google Optimize
•Extensive experience with online marketing tools and web-based technologies
•Strong and effective project management skills and the ability to lead and direct internal and external resources
•Ability to manage multiple projects on various levels with different and converging timelines
•Results oriented leader with ability to develop and communicate big-picture vision and strategy, and deliver results through practical, disciplined execution. Demonstrated success in developing strategies and roadmaps that directly led to measurable business results
•Excellent communication skills. Strong leadership presence. Effective storyteller in evangelizing strategies and new directions
•Strong collaboration and partnership skills. Ability to effectively influence stakeholders and gain consensus at all levels of the organization
•Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, and ability to generate, analyze and interpret data
•Ability to translate complex and varied inputs including digital behavioral data and analytics, market research, industry and competitive trends and develop actionable strategies

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in New York is $141,372.00 - $232,254.00  / year. For other locations, please inquire with your recruiter. The rates/ranges provided herein are the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and do not reflect future job opportunity.
