Director - Deals Transaction Services - Financial Due Diligence, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, New York, NY. Advise clients in executing acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and structured investments. Provide financial and accounting diligence analysis for client transactions including examining, analyzing, and interpreting accounting records. Ensure integrity of financial information, quality of earnings and assets, and other financial and budgetary data including cash flows. Manage a wide range of accounting projects and prepare reports on audit findings. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $245,000/yr.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 7 years of related work experience, of which at least 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 5 years of related work experience.
Certification(s) required: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant or foreign equivalent.
Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:
- Providing Financial Due Diligence and other transaction-related services to large companies and private equity funds;
- Executing deals based on technical standards, industry knowledge, and audit best practices;
- Defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collection; and
- Deriving solutions to issues in technical accounting areas such as US GAAP and SEC reporting, especially pertaining to business combinations.
80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.
Domestic and/or international travel required up to 60%.
