What you'll do...
We are in the process of opening a new state-of-the-art multi-purpose Distribution Center (DC) that will serve as a hub for our operations. As a rapidly growing company, we are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of DC Operations to lead our team and drive the success of this new facility.
About Supply Chain
As the Director of our new Distribution Center, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the facility's operations. Your primary focus will be to ensure the efficient and effective management of the DC, including people leadership, inventory control, freight flow, order fulfillment, and end to end logistics. You will work closely with various departments, including DC Operations, Replenishment, Transportation, Club Operations, and Finance, to ensure smooth operation and Member satisfaction.
What you'll do:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the DC's performance and achieve operational goals.
- Oversee inventory management, including forecasting, replenishment, and tracking accuracy.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of employees, ensuring a best-in-class work environment and fostering the sites culture.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, promoting a safe working environment.
- Make data-driven decisions, leveraging available technology and systems to drive operational excellence.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, implementing innovations to improve the DC's performance.
