As Data Integration Lead for PHM at Gainwell, you will oversee the implementation of the data platform for the Population Health Management Service (PHM Service) Project in California. This will include leading a team of Engineers, product managers and partners responsible for integrating our partner solutions and building out the analytics capabilities for DHCS.

Your role in our mission
- Leads a cross functional team in the design, development, test, configuration and ongoing operations of an integrated Population Health Solution. Directly responsible for the data platform and integration of Gainwell and Partner solutions.
- Designs, implements and maintains complex databases, access methods, access time, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods to ensure that client requirements are satisfied.
- Leveraged deep analytical competencies to shape and drive the execution of Population Health Platform.
- Subject Matter Technical expert in implementing PHM models resulting in quality outcomes, improved patient satisfaction, & cost savings.
- Manage data infrastructure of PHM platform, ensuring products such as dashboards related to HEDIS quality measures, closing care gaps, and guaranteeing the advancement of quality data and analytical reporting systems is working appropriately and continuously improving.
- Conducted regular data analysis and performance assessments to track key metrics, such as coding accuracy, risk stratification, and care coordination, and made recommendations for process improvements.
- Responsible for overall data management efforts for the solution.
- Provides overall monitoring of standards and procedures and suggests revisions when necessary to ensure updated guidelines to meet changing market demands and consistency across databases.
- Applies data analysis or data modeling techniques to establish, modify or maintain complex data structures and their associated components to increase efficiency of structures and components.
- Investigates and resolves technical matters of significance within databases by analyzing and determining possible causes to ensure client satisfaction.
- Provides work direction and guidance to less experienced personnel using the data structures and associated components to ensure that business specifications are met.
- Provides training in data modeling techniques and in incorporating data modeling into information systems to ensure consistency in development and maintenance of database structures across the company.
- Researches business objectives and data requirements of client to ensure that developed databases meet client needs.
- Communicates with clients about data-related discrepancies and other matters of significance to ascertain information and correct errors.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or related field preferred.
- 5+ years would be ideal in healthcare IT, preferably with a strong knowledge of healthcare Data Integration and data products.
- Experience implementing data-driven strategies address health quality and delivery issues.
- Six or more years of experience in programming or data analysis.
- Experience working with data administration, repository management, database creation techniques, and data warehousing standards, strategies, and tools.
- Experience working with company used database and statistical software and product configurations.
- Experience with configuring and installing data solutions and application software.
