Walmart's Global Security, Aviation, and Investigations organization is looking for a Director, Data Analytics for Investigations to serve as a leader within the IROCC (Investigative Risk and Operational Compliance Center), the analytics center of excellence for Global Governance. This position solves complex problems across a broad range of risk areas including internal investigations, government investigations, online marketplace fraud, organized retail crime (ORC), commercial corruption, and crimes against the business.

What you'll do...
Walmart's Global Security, Aviation, and Investigations organization is looking for a Director, Data Analytics for Investigations to serve as a leader within the IROCC (Investigative Risk and Operational Compliance Center), the analytics center of excellence for Global Governance. This position solves complex problems across a broad range of risk areas including internal investigations, government investigations, online marketplace fraud, organized retail crime (ORC), commercial corruption, and crimes against the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee a team of data analysts who partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify, collect, process, visualize, and model data in response to investigative objectives.
- Drive a high-performance culture through effective operational management, real-time feedback to team members, and management of program metrics; Identify and remove roadblocks so team members can execute workflows in a timely manner.
- Provide direction on tools, best practices, and quality control measures to produce accurate and consistent deliverables.
- Identify use cases for advanced analytics and machine learning to produce process efficiencies, develop predictive insights, and improve case outcomes.
- Build relationships with the appropriate Investigation, Compliance, Legal, and Business partners to identify trends, spot emerging risks, and plan for long-term growth of the IROCC analytics program.

- Experience with languages used to manipulate, analyze, visualize, and draw insights high-volume data sets (e.g. SQL, Python, R, PowerBI, Tableau, Tableau Prep, Dataiku, BigQuery, Looker etc.)
- Experience transforming innovative ideas into practical analytics solutions
- Certifications in healthcare, analytics, fraud examination, forensics, data privacy, information security, machine learning, or data governance disciplines
