About this position

The Director, Creative will be responsible for overseeing the creative function and translating Marketing and Sales objectives into strategies, designs, and plans. Our Director, Creative, will manage all graphic and email design, web page creative design, social media and video development, collateral development, copywriting, advertising, and incentives & promotions among other brand designs. This role is expected to help bring the One Plexus core value and the Plexus brand to life for Brand Ambassadors, VIP customers, and Employees.

What you'll do

• You lead and manage creative teams through a combination of mentoring, coaching and leadership.
• You lead strategic brainstorming sessions, campaign development, creative brief development and direct creative execution.
• You facilitate and attend creative meetings to develop strategies and implement all creative requirements.
• You collaborate with design to ensure that all creative ideas are presented properly.
• You provide Brand Ambassadors and VIP Customers with an emotional connection to Plexus through the execution of compelling print, digital marketing materials, and videos.
• You are responsible for the creative department budget including personnel, equipment, photo shoots, freelance vendors, contract employees, and outsourced creative projects.
• You oversee the development of our brand image across multiple channels - ensure consistency and relevance.
• You support Plexus' international markets by providing market specific versions of creative and video in addition to developing and executing global packaging designs.
• You administer, oversee, and manage video and creative assets within our current infrastructure as well as in our future state utilizing a digital asset management system.
• You foster a collaborative creative environment through teamwork and leading by example.
• You develop creative, customer-focused solutions that strategically solve business needs.
• You lead the creative campaign development of global product launches and sales promotions/incentives that support enrollment and retention initiatives based on objectives and parameters outlined in creative briefs.
• You produce campaign pitch decks and guideline decks by working in a hands-on, highly collaborative manner.
• You provide the art direction of photoshoots and partner with photographers to ensure content is on-brand, diverse and relevant.
• You engage cross-departmentally with communications, sales, events, training, digital and product management & product marketing teams throughout the creative process to ensure teams maintain alignment.
• You understand and respond to performance marketing data.
• You continue professional development by stretching understanding of design trends and industry best practices.
• Occasional travel required for meetings or business needs.
  

You should have

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Communications, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
• You have a minimum of 7 years' experience in a progressive marketing role. Experience with a Multi-level Marketing company is a plus.
• You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in people management.
• You have an advanced knowledge of print production and press checks.
• You have proven experience art directing and all aspects of photoshoot management.
• You have experience working within a project management system such as BaseCamp or Workfront.
  
• You possess a high degree of ownership and initiative with the ability to focus on details as well as the big picture.
