The purpose of Dignity Health Management Services Organization (Dignity Health MSO/DHMSO) is to build a system-wide integrated physician-centric full-service management service organization structure. We offer a menu of management and business services that will leverage economies of scale across provider types and geographies and will lead the effort in developing Dignity Health’s Medicaid population health care management pathways. Responsibilities

Position Summary:


The Director of Analytics oversees and strategizes the data analytics needs of the organization including but not limited to analysis of population health metrics, network clinical, financial, utilization, and patient satisfaction in support of the optimization of DHMSO's performance relative to value-based contracts. The Director will lead a team to provide and strategize results for hands on data science and analytics functions for DHMSO leadership, day-to-day oversight of the population health analytics team members and collaborate with DHMSO leadership and provider network to achieve organizational goals.

 

Responsibilities may include:
- Directs and leads DHMSO clinical informatics analytics division. Will provide strategical data and informatics reporting on all program/activity.
- Collaborate closely with DHMSO senior leaders and network stakeholders to meet the strategic and operational analytics and reporting needs of organization.
- Develops and implements DHMSO business rules for application in the data analytics platforms utilized by DHMSO.
- Oversee and develop data quality and audit processes to ensure the integrity of the analytics and reporting within DHMSO.
- Collaborates and supports information exchange across stakeholders.
- Collaborates and supports all team members within DHMSO with the analytic, reporting, and strategic planning needs in supports of the DHMSO performance in value based care arrangements, including population risk- segmentation, risk- stratification, care gap identification, performance benchmark calculation, provider performance reporting, etc.
- Collaborates as needed with the DHMSO Information Technology (IT) team regarding data capture optimization, data file transfers, portals and more to identify and implement best practices in data capture, mapping, and governance in support of DHMSO clinical and financial insights.
- Performs gain-sharing and risk-sharing calculations in accordance with payer contracts and criteria established by DHMSO senior leadership team and analyzes trends and costs of care by provider in the network.
- Helps develop and revise gain-sharing and risk-sharing methodologies based on operational needs and available data.
- Performs ad-hoc analysis in support of the business intelligence needs of the DHMSO.
- Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:


- Minimum five (5) years of experience in the health plan and/or healthcare operations industry with extensive experience in data analytics, information systems, data warehousing, analytic system implementations, consulting and strategic planning in an MSO and/or Population Health setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Health Administration preferred or related field and/or experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated skills in the areas of accounting, supervision, management, written and verbal communication, judgment, problem-solving, presentation and public relations.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with SAS Enterprise Miner and Text Analytics, SAS/STAT, Enterprise Guide, Visual Analytics, Business Rues Manager, Model Manager, SQL and SAS coding. Previous experience with analyzing large datasets and developing data-driven statistical models is required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:


- Preferred seven (7) years of experience in all items stated in required.
- Master’s degree in Health Economics, Health Administration or a related field or experience commensurate with position preferred.
- Previous experience in Accountable Care, specifically Medicare Shared Savings program or Next Generation ACO analytics preferred.

- Data governance experience preferred.

- Previous experience with team development and policy implemtation preferred.

$54.12 - $78.47 /hour
