Job Description
The Global Talent Management team creates the insights, strategies & practices required to unlock the full potential of our teams and talent, and ensure we have the leadership needed for the future of Visa. This role is for a builder and change agent who is passionate about creating leader accountability through transparency of talent analytics and Insights. It is for an emerging leader who is motivated by high visibility work that measures the impact of the Talent Management and OD COE's practices, and the effectiveness of our leaders in managing their teams and talent.
The Director of Talent Management Analytics will drive the business by empowering Talent Management, People Business Partners and Executive Leaders to integrate their org and talent data into everyday decision making and strategic planning. In this role, you will dual report to the VP, Talent Management and VP People Analytics leaders to develop a new Org Effectiveness & Talent Management data and analytics strategy.
This role is an opportunity for a highly-motivated individual to develop a vision and leave their mark in helping Visa retain and grow its competitive advantage in talent. The ideal candidate will have strong strategic, analytical, consultative, communication, and storytelling skills and will thrive managing concurrent projects. We are looking for someone who enjoys operating in ambiguity, uses creativity to overcome challenges and can play a pivotal role in driving our Talent Management strategy through data-driven insights and strategic planning.
This role will dual report to the VP of People Analytics and the VP of Global Talent Management and sit on both leadership teams.
Primary responsibilities include:
  • Serving as primary analytics thought-partner to Talent Management & Org Design Leadership to help evolve and improve strategic decision making and communicate our impact.
  • Act as an internal consultant by understanding business needs, scoping data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions to the Talent COE leaders and Talent Partners, in collaboration with other members of the people analytics team.
  • Own the monthly TM KPI reporting process and evolve it to meet new needs and to better automate and create stronger visualizations.
  • Provide expertise on our Manager Effectiveness strategy and feasibility of metrics to incorporate to drive manager accountability. Better integrate our engagement and upward feedback insights into Talent Management dashboards.
  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and help inform, influence, support, and execute our talent decisions. Have a proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics.
  • Build a stronger self-service model for reporting for Talent Partners and People Business Partners on key processes (promotions, talent reviews, succession, performance management, development planning) through easy-access dashboards and rosters, partnering with People Analytics peers to ensure the right integrations and architecture.
  • Champion and be an early adopter for new technologies like Gen AI, predictive analytics, prescriptive tool creation.
  • Lead the transformation from operational analytics to business/performance impact focused analytics and reporting.
  • Reinforce a culture of data-driven decision making by focusing on questioning, examining, interpreting, comparing, and confirming.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • Superior strategic and analytical skills with abiity to draw key insights from data and develop clear recommendations
  • Deep expertise in Talent Management data analysis at a large global company, combined with behavioral data, HR data, performance metrics and business data for articulating the impact of Talent Management
  • Demonstrate exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive talent data
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and experience working with Data Science teams
  • Experience engaging directly with enterprise-level clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience building dashboards and data visualizations in Tableau and Excel (complex formulas, pivots, macros), and business intelligence tools, such as SQL, Power BI, and Watershed
  • Experience communicating technical results to senior leaders.
  • Prior experience leading talent management analytics at a large global company and supporting succession planning, performance management and promotions processes
  • Experience in HR analytics using HR systems and tools such as Workday
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment, under pressure
  • Proven understanding of predictive analytics
  • Knowledge of leveraging Gen AI for enabling self-service data reporting
  • Familiarity with agile frameworks (tools like Jira) to build roadmaps, backlogs, and identify priorities amongst the technical teams

Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,200.00 to 171,900.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
