American Express Global Commercial Services is the leading payment card issuer for corporations and small businesses with products and services to help them run and grow their business. American Express Global Client Group (GCG) services the top 180 Global Corporate Clients across various industries.

Position location: California (Virtual)

Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in Strategy, Marketing, Sales, Account Development, or Change Management.
  • People Leader role. Experience as a current People Leader.
  • Outstanding business acumen and strategic perspective.
  • Exceptional relationship building experience, including the ability to develop relationships with senior executives and leadership teams across the organization.
  • Proven ability to influence others.
  • Global experience preferably with large complex global organizations.
  • Strong understanding of treasury and procurement concepts and related technologies (P2P Platforms).
  • Demonstrated track record of managing and growing external client relationships, particularly complex global companies.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a solid ability to acquire knowledge and present products and financials.
  • Committed large global team people leader with a track record of developing and inspiring others.
  • Strong problem solving and analysis abilities.
  • Excellent written & verbal communications skills and presentation skills
  • Ability to think creatively, approach sales enablement from new angles, and manage up, down and across the organization.
  • Strong financial and analytical background.
  • Experience within financial services industry preferred.
  • Results-oriented. Attention to detail and innovative thought leader.
  • Travel: 25%
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.

Position location: California (Virtual)

Skills:

  • This role requires strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to plan and execute against strategic objectives.
  • Core competencies include strong customer facing capabilities, commercial card industry knowledge and experience and the ability to understand the technical aspects of commercial cards as well as strong leadership and sales skills.
  • PowerPoint and Excel skills are required for preparation of meeting materials.
  • Experience developing pricing strategies.

Salary Range: $130,000.00 to $205,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
