The Director for 340B Access Strategy is a deep technical expert in the business implications and operations of the 340B Program and will be responsible for executing an integrated strategic plan for 340B across the BMS Commercialization matrix, including Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Pricing, and Value Demonstration (MAx), and Government Price Reporting for the entire BMS portfolio. The role will also be the primary interface between MAx and the Legal, Compliance, and U.S. Policy & Government Affairs teams, as well as manage a strong interface with Commercialization, and Strategy and Innovation. The Director for 340B Access Strategy will be responsible for monitoring the external 340B operational environment and serving as the primary BMS voice to the external 340B provider community. The individual will engage not only with covered entities, but also contract pharmacies, vendors, and others.
The position is field based and cross-functional in nature and is part of a highly matrixed organization. The Director for 340B Access Strategy will partner with the cross-functional 340B Team, as well as relevant 340B KOLs and market stakeholders, to optimally ensure appropriateness of discounts paid through the 340B program.
