We are seeking a skilled HDD Operator and skilled HDD Locator to join our team. As a Locator or Operator, you will be responsible for meeting project timelines, assigning tasks to drill crew, supporting Crew Chief and ensuring the safety guidelines for each project are met. This is a crucial role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate various equipment.

```Responsibilities```
- Use specialized equipment to locate underground utilities such as water lines, gas lines, and electrical cables
- Communicate with project managers, construction crews, and utility companies to coordinate excavation activities
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and damage to utilities
- Conduct site surveys and gather information about existing utility infrastructure
- Maintain accurate records of utility locations and updates

```Experience```
- Previous experience in utility locating or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of underground utility systems and their markings
- Familiarity with equipment such as water trucks, forklifts, mini excavators, and heavy equipment operation
- Experience with horizontal drilling techniques is required
- Understanding of OSHA regulations and safety procedures in excavation work
- Ability to read blueprints and maps

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $21.98 - $35.00 per hour
