PCGH is a non-profit organization based in Roxboro, NC that offers varying levels of support for individuals in our community who are living with an intellectual/developmental disability and/or traumatic brain injury.

In providing this broad range of offerings, we are able to tailor to each of our Participants' specific needs. We engage with Participants through individual and/or group activities, through various recreational activities and through community events...to name a few. All the while we strive to meet each Participant's unique set of goals surrounding physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and social skills.
About the Job:
PCGH seeks a compassionate, caring person to be a trusted Direct Support Professional ("DSP") in our ICF Program. The ideal candidate will be able to compassionately work with and care for clients living at one of our 2 ICF locations in Roxboro. These wonderful clients require hands-on care and have been diagnosed with an Intellectual Developmental/Disability and/or a Traumatic Brain Injury.
The position requires working on goals with program participants on a daily basis and dealing with challenging situations; therefore, it's important that the successful candidate is attentive to detail, has strong problem-solving skills and is comfortable interacting with people in stressful situations.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting PCGH's beloved clients with living as independently as possible and enhancing their lives through community engagement
- Providing compassionate care as per an individualized care plan
- Working with intellectually, developmentally and/or physically disabled and disadvantaged individuals, some of whom have far more pronounced needs than others
- Working with other members of the care team to best serve the clients and their families
- Be part of constructing, implementing and reassessing and adjusting an individualized care plan based on the person's preferences, goals and needs
- Conduct crisis intervention if and when it is needed

- Mon-Wed 6:30am-3pm & every other Sat-Sun 9am-9pm (31.5 hrs/wk)
- Mon-Wed 8:30am-3pm & Thurs-Fri 6:30am-3pm (36.5 hrs/wk)
- Mon-Tues 3pm-11pm & Wed 7pm-11pm & every other Sat-Sun 9am-9pm (31 hrs/wk)
