Direct Support Professional- Graveyard

Looking for a Grave caregiving position or a second caregiver job? You must be able to work 2 days on/ 2 days off plus every other weekend. All training is offered during the daytime only. Our Direct Support Professionals support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that live in their own home by implementing behavior plans, teaching self-care skills, cooking meals, doing household tasks, and fun activities. No caregiving experience? We provide 75 hours ofpaid training with Zoom classes. Please note: Training classes are during the daytime.

Hiring bonus: $500 after your first 90 days then another $500 after you have completed your first 6 months of work and all required training is complete*!

• $20.00/hour
• Consistent schedule - 2 day on/2 day off and must be able to work every other weekend
• Grave positions are 11pm - 7am ( 24-32 hours/ week)

• 75 hours paid Caregiver Training including CPR/First Aid
• Paid training- daytime on Zoom/in person
• First year/first time Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) license paid
• Paydays every two weeks

• Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with their personal care - personal hygiene and grooming
• Daily tasks include light housekeeping, laundry, and keeping the home comfortable for the individuals
• Plan meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving food/meals
• Accompany individuals to scheduled medical appointments
• Remind and assist individuals with self-administration of medications (with training)
• Accompany clients on fun community activities~movies, swimming, trips to the beach or zoo, shopping at the mall, etc.
• Document services provided using computer

Requirements:

• Must be able to provide proof of your completed Covid vaccination record
• Be at least 18 Years or older
• Be Able to Pass a Washington State Criminal Background Check
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, twist, turn, sit, stand for periods of time
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have basic computer skills
• Have good problem solving skills working as a team
