Locations:
- Anaheim: 2255 West Crestwood Lane, Anaheim, CA 92804
- Garden Grove: 11702 Garden Grove, CA 92840
Shifts:
- AM (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- PM (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM)
- NOC (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- ***5-day/40 hour per week & 2-day/16 hour per week shifts available
Duties
- Assist members with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Plan and prepare meals based on dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Promote independence by inspiring members to make choices and perform tasks to the best of their abilities.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to members, encouraging a positive and supportive environment.
- Implement behavioral plans, offering reinforcement/redirection when necessary.
- Provide transportation to appointments, events, and outings.
- Respond to and manage crisis situations with sensitivity and appropriate intervention techniques.
- Ensure a safe living environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience providing direct care to persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities; For Leads - Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing direct care to persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Must become RBT certified within a year of employment; For Leads - must become RBT certified within 60 days of employment
- Must become DSP I & II certified within a year of employment
- Willingness to use company vehicle to transport clients to appointments and groups, etc.; For Leads - willingness to use company vehicle AND personal vehicle to transport clients to appointments and groups, etc.
- Current and valid driver's license
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.90 - $25.58 per hour
