We are currently seeking both Full and Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for immediate hire in ALL FIVE BOROUGHS! .The pay rate for this position is between $15.81 and $18.24 per hour depending on education level and residence placement. - Typicalday shifts are7am-3pm
- Typical evening shifts are3pm-11pm
- Typicalovernight shifts are11pm-9am
- Driver license requiredformost day and evening positions
- Schedules generally include working weekends, with two (2) consecutive days off will be during the week.

If so, you are patient, compassionate, creative, and team-oriented. You will support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community participation, advocacy, and building meaningful relationships. You must be able and willing to teach, provide counseling, and problem solve, while fostering a nurturing, personalized home environment.
Additional Responsibilities:
- The oversight of all safety and health considerations
- Promoting skill development, interests, and hobbies
- Assisting with Adult Daily Living skills (ADLs)
- Other personalized responsibilities including cooking, cleaning, hygiene, etc.
Required Qualifications:
- High school education/GED or equivalent required
- Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills.Patience is a MUST!
- Valid NYS Driver's License Required for most day and evening staff.
- Experience supporting People with Intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
- Willingness to support people's preferences for community, activities, work, leisure activities, the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings.
- Ability to stay alert and awake at all times; use a computer for data entry; schedule flexibility.
