SalarySeeking an enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated individual to provide support for Benjamin in community settings. Benjamin is a fun loving young man with Down Syndrome who currently works 2 part time jobs, He would like to return to bowling, exercising at the YMCA (or Park) and many other activities in his community. He has a great sense of humor and loves music.
Responsibilities:
Assist Ben to make healthy lifestyle choices to improve his physical health and wellbeing
Assist Ben to make safe choices during transport and out in the community
Help Ben develop the social skills to interact with others in respectful and socially acceptable ways
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old and have obtained a high school diploma or GED
Consent to BCI
Access to own reliable transportation
Have valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
Hours currently available:
Tuesdays 12:30-5:00
Thursdays 12:30-5:00
Compensation:
Will pay up to $31 per hour for trained staff
