Metropolitan Community Services (MCS) is a culturally sensitive, community responsive provider of health and social services. Our primary activities consist of providing services, education and resources with an emphasis on honoring the dignity and value of each individual who lives in the continuum of long-term care. We are currently accepting applications for a Direct Support Professional (who likes to organize) to fill immediately.Free Parking is available for this position. WHILE THIS JOB OFFERS 4.5 HOURS A WEEK, more hours are available so please ask!

Duties:

• Help with dressing
• Sponge bathing
• Activities of daily life
• Cooking
• Light cleaning
• Transport to medical appointment

Qualifications:

• Reliability
• Calm demeanor
• Experience as a caregiver
• Organizational skills
• Pass a background check
• English speaking

Please note that this position may require working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The ability to effectively communicate and work as part of a team is essential.
