Support service professional, Direct Support, caregiver needed for a loving and playful young woman in her 20’s. She loves to play Wii, enjoys electronics and being outside to ride 4-wheelers and her horses. We are looking for a kind, caring, energetic, patient and dependable individual to assist her with activities of daily living within her home and community.
No certification is required, however knowledge and experience with special needs and intellectual disabilities is a must.
You must have reliable transportation, be trustworthy and willing to undergo a background check.
The family is looking for an individual who is genuinely caring and looking to make a difference in this individuals life. The family is interested in applicants that are looking to commit to this job as a long term position and not a stepping stone opportunity.
This position is located within her home located south of Bangor. The home is halfway between Easton and Bangor areas, approximately 10 minutes from Easton, Wind Gap, Pen Argyl or Nazareth. Residence is 20-30 minutes from most areas of Allentown, Bethlehem, or Stroudsburg.
This position is will offer from 12-40 hours per week, based on your availability and needs within the family. Shifts needed include, Tuesdays from 1pm- 9pm, and Thursdays from 9am- 9pm. Weekend shifts are available and based on need of the individual and availability of the applicant. Additional shifts and coverage may be available if interested.
Competitive pay with compensation rate dependent on experience and performance.
