Responsibilities: - Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs - Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Administer medication and monitor vital signs as needed - Implement behavior support plans and assist with behavior management - Document and maintain accurate records of client progress and activities - Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding - Provide transportation for clients to appointments or community outings - Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in a related field is a plus - Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities, seniors, or in a similar caregiving role preferred - Knowledge of basic medical procedures and ability to take vital signs - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team - Ability to lift and perform heavy lifting when necessary - Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor - Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Skills: - Experience in senior care, home care, childcare, or social work is highly desirable - Ability to clean and maintain a safe and hygienic environment for clients - Familiarity with various systems of support for individuals with disabilities or special needs This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals in need.
