Direct Support Professional

Join our team as a Part-time Direct Support Professional in Schwenksville, PA, and embark on a rewarding journey of making a positive impact in someone's life. We're seeking compassionate individuals to provide Direct Support for a gentleman who is eager to actively engage with his community. As an ambulatory individual who requires more reminders than physical assistance, he is looking for a companion to explore new places and activities. Starting at 15 – 20 hours per week more hours possible.

Responsibilities:

· Drive the gentleman to various destinations, with mileage reimbursed at the federal rate.

· Assist him at home and during community activities such as volunteering, YMCA visits, shopping, and more.

· Offer support in making choices that foster an independent lifestyle.

· Provide direct care in the evenings and mornings.

· Run errands and run errands and do cleaning during non-care hours.

· Collect and document daily activities.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED

· At least one year of direct care experience.

· Minimum age of 21.

· Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and a clean driving record.

Job Type:

· Overnight, Homemaker Services, and Day hours.

Salary:

· Hourly rate ranges between $14.33 to $25.82, depending on services provided.

· Additional mileage reimbursement.
