1st shift 6:30am.-2:30pm.
40 hours a week, A Schedule is created around the clients Grade School. Monday-Friday with alternating weekends being 8 hour shift will be a major part of this position. Summer hours may vary and you must have open availability between first and second shift)
We are looking for a competent pleasant supportive companion, Caregiver for our loved one; a committed individual who understands the importance of meeting the needs of the client and helping him keep his independence and dignity.
Responsibilities
Helping the client achieve Activities of Daily Living (A.D.L'S),Time Management skills to stay on scheduled times for get up time, to administer prescribed medication, and for daily activities. Assist client with ambulation and mobility around the house or outdoors (doctors appointments ,walks etc..),Assist with personal care and hygiene bathroom functions, bathing ,grooming dressing, and eating, Prepare and puree meals, Help client with physical therapy exercise's, Perform light house keeping that pertains to the client.
Requirements
18 years of age or older ,1 or more years experience, a background check,valid drivers license FAST- PACED ENVIORNMENT,MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT WITH NO PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS, NON-SMOKER, High school diploma or equivalent,experienced caregivers, Strong ethics, physical endurance, excellent communication skills, follow instructions, Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards, Respectful and compassionate, Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
