Direct Support Associate
Position Status: Part-time
Location: Pinehurst, NC
The Arc of NC is actively seeking a compassionate, dependable, and vibrant Support Associate to provide essential assistance to a young lady in the Pinehurst area.
We have part-time opportunities available, offering flexibility to fit your schedule. We are specifically seeking people who are highly motivated, possess a youthful spirit, and have a caring nature. As a Support Associate, you will play a key role in providing personal care tailored to the physical limitations of the individual, both at home and in the community.

Compassionate: Understanding the individual’s needs and emotions is at the core of what we do.
Experienced: Previous experience in providing care, especially for those with disabilities, is highly valued.
Physical capability: Ability to lift at least 5-10 lbs is required to meet the physical demands of the role.
Communication skills: Comfortable with different communication styles to ensure effective interaction.
Driver's License: A valid driver’s license is a must, as some responsibilities may involve transportation.
Online Training: The ability to complete online training and documentation is a necessary part of the role.
