Direct Response Copywriter

Essence of the role (Role’s Purpose):
We are seeking a results-driven Direct Response Copywriter for our new-to-market supplement brands. In your role as a Direct Response Copywriter your primary goal will be to produce exciting short and long form content that grabs attention and compels immediate action across multiple advertising channels such as Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Google Ads, YouTube Ads, and eCommerce product pages, website content, sales pages while meeting tight deadlines and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Recipe for Success (Responsibilities):

• Write a lot of copy that sells our new-to-market supplement brands to cold traffic and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Write copy that grabs attention, sells the prospect on the product and clicking on the ad, and persuade them to convert on the next page. We like exciting copy that grabs attention, persuades, and converts.
• Consistently provide different copy versions for a/b testing to identify what works better across advertising campaigns, sales pages, eCommerce product pages and website copy.
• Analyze data from a/b test results to evaluate copy effectiveness and improve future content. If sales goals aren’t being met it’s likely an issue with messaging.
• Maintain reporting log to track a/b test results and copy performance
• Provide input to creative and website teams to get the correct images and design for the copy you write.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ingredients Required (Qualifications):

• Consistently write a lot of sales copy for advertising and websites and consistently comes up with different angles and new ideas to improve copy and sales. We like exciting copy that grabs attention, persuades, and converts.
• You don’t just write words just to talk. You write with the goal of speaking to the reader and compelling them to take action. Your sales copy is centered around selling to the target audience, their mindset, and decision making process.
• You think strategically about how each piece of copy fits into the advertising strategy and customer purchasing journey for our new-to-market supplement start-up brands.
• Able to explain your thought process, collect and incorporate feedback or push back when there’s a good reason to do so.
• Self-starter, work independently, results driven, responsible, organized, meet fast paced environment deadlines.
• High-output Direct Response copywriting experience writing short form and long form content.
• Understanding of Direct Response copywriting best practices and proven track record of crafting copy that grabs attention, persuades, and converts with successful Direct Response digital advertising campaigns and sales pages, eCommerce product pages, website content showcased in your portfolio.

• Must be able to work out of Eastern Standard Time Zone; associates residing within a certain distance of the office are to work a hybrid schedule.
