Kindest Care is looking for caring and reliable caregivers / Direct Care Workers / Home Health Aides for immediate placement in West Chester, PA 19382 area. This position requires individuals who are compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing quality care. The ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively is essential.
- Provide Direct Care and support to individuals in a residential or community setting
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities, including working with people on the autism spectrum
- Administer medication as directed by a nurse or healthcare professional
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Engage individuals in social and recreational activities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals
- Provide other services as indicated on the patient's care plan
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or Direct Care roles preferred
- Familiarity with working with bed-bound individuals is a plus
- Knowledge of senior care practices and techniques is beneficial
- Understanding of social work principles and practices is desirable
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and guidelines for patient care is a plus
- First aid training or certification is preferred

The candidate will be responsible for providing personal care in accordance with the Patient's Care Plan.
QUALIFICATIONS :-
Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to commute to the client home
- Complete initial and ongoing training
- Minimum of Certificate of Direct Care Training or HHA is required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and tolerate periods of repeated bending, stooping, etc as necessary to meet the needs of assigned patients.
- Must possess current PPD certification.
- Must be able to effectively and courteously communicate with staff and elderly patients
- Must be willing to undergo state mandated criminal background check
- All Applicants must have related experience, relevant skills / certifications and reliable transportation and 2 job-related verifiable references
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $13.50 per hour
