Education: High School diploma or equivalent GED required

Experience: Effective communication skills, compassion, attention to detail, flexibility, physical stamina, patience. Ability to read, write and speak English

Qualifications: Active driver’s license with reliable transportation. Able to pass background checks and have Covid-19 vaccination or medical/religious exemption letter required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Direct Care Worker:

• Helps the consumer with ambulation/transfer
• Assists consumers in dressing, bathing, and completing basic hygiene tasks.
• Prepares meals/snacks that adhere to special dietary considerations.
• Assists with light cleaning and housework.
• Helps consumer complete basic household tasks.
• Runs errands
• Serves as a companion for the consumer
• Provide transportation
• Assist with eating/feeding
• Laundry, change bed linen, make bed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
