In this role, you will provide assistance and support to children and adults with mental or cognitive impairment, as well as individuals with Intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). No previous experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training to all our employees. Our caregivers make 18.67% more than the average per hour rate for a caregiver in Michigan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist children and adults with mental or cognitive impairment and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
- Document and report any changes in clients' behavior or condition.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Compassion and empathy towards individuals with special needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
- Must pass background checks and reference checks.
