Direct Care Professional

Ray County Board of Services is looking to hire one full time and one part time Direct Support Professionals for our home and community based services programs. Come be a part of our team and make a difference in someone's life!

The DSP will provide supports including supervision, training, and assistance to individuals in home and community based settings. Working one-on-one and in group settings, the DSP will increase the individual’s life skills, and positively impact each individual’s quality of life.

Fulltime positions are 40-hours per week. Currently offering evening, overnight and weekend opportunities. Part-time positions offer flexibility for days and hours.

Prior experience is not needed but preferred. Applicants must be 18 years old, hold a high school diploma/GED, and have a valid driver's license (with the ability to attain their class E license within the first 30 days of hire) and proof of minimum state auto insurance coverage. Applicants must be wiling to submit to a background check and drug screening.

Starting pay is $17 per hour going $18 per hour at the successful completion of first 90 days. RCBS utilizes a merit pay performance-based review system that allows for annual increase based on that review. RCBS offers paid required training for all employees.
