Direct Care Level Iii-Prn

This posting will be used for 30 days to conduct ongoing recruitment and will remain open until the position and/or positions have been filled. Unit is House/Adult Psych (APD)/Forensic (FTU). This is a PRN position.

Incumbent will provide direct patient care services.

Incumbent provides on-going training, identifies and analyzes problems and provides direct fundamental basic care that may include, bathing, bathroom assistance, maintaining a clean-living area, and administering medication.

Patients/Residents/Clients

Ideal candidate will have:
Experience working with treatment teams;
Experience working in a hospital setting;
Experience working as a Certified Nurse's Assistant.

High School Diploma and two (2) years of experience as it pertains to the essential duties of the classification.

This position will perform work in a hospital and office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDTI and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Exposure to mentally and behaviorally challenged residents who may exhibit unpredictable and sometimes violent behaviors in volatile situations required.
