We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assisted Living Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will provide assistance and support to residents in our assisted living facility. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of our residents by assisting with daily activities and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Serve meals and assist residents with dining, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines
-Help residents with mobility and transfers as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
- Monitor resident well-being and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate staff
- Collaborate with other team members to create a positive and supportive living environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital, nursing home, or assisted living facility
- Knowledge of food service procedures, including food preparation and handling
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary or dietary department experience is a plus
