Description Role: This role will build and execute the existing platform and develop roadmap to integrate with telematics service providers, technology partners, and suppliers . The Product Owner will interact with the stakeholders, developers, analysts, and business leads to create a strategic prioritization of features adding value and drive innovation and revenue. They will serve as the soup-to-nuts product leader from ideation and requirements gathering through deployment and lifecycle management.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Drive the existing platform long-term strategy and roadmap focusing on integrating connected platform with Telematics service providers, technology partners (video telematics, analytics), and suppliers.
- Incorporate internal and external stakeholder feedback to generate features that deliver true business value to the end user.
- Collaborate with Product Management, UX, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Care on near- and long-term product roadmaps and drive cohesion across the organization.
- Manage product backlog (PBL). Define User Stories with detailed Acceptance Criteria that meet a Definition of Ready; participate in daily standup and sprint reviews of engineering work products.
- Define and manage KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to track performance in achieving product success.
- 5+ years of progressively responsible work experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or similar role using an Agile software development process in Connected Technology.
- Product Ownership experience in managing 3rd party data consumer, Supplier, OEM software & hardware development
- Deep understanding of the Connected Vehicle Ecosystem and Integrations framework (API)
- 5+ years of managing system-level architecture and enterprise system design.
- Passionate about customer satisfaction
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- The strong initiative required, with the ability to work independently when needed
- Pragmatic problem solver and can focus attention on technical details (i.e., take complex problems and break them down into components)
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
