Position Summary:
This position is a Digital Product manager role responsible for taking ownership of Toyota’s digital commerce marketplace platform supporting the online sale of parts, equipment, accessories and services. This position is responsible for developing, elaborating and documenting functional and technical requirements for new development and enhancements across Toyota’s digital commerce platform. This role will own the Digital Product development backlog and be the internal subject matter expert (SME) on digital commerce features and capabilities. This role requires broad thought across the entire omni-channel customer life cycle to execute seamless integrations to other systems and platforms as well as business process improvements within Toyota’s broad ecosystem. This is a change agent role and the associate will be asked to lead change and help prepare our network for change. The associate should be familiar with:

- B2B and B2B2B business models (Manufacturer --> Distributor --> End-Customer)
- Digital Commerce and Digital Marketplaces

This position will work with group management, analysts and Digital QA teams to ensure the platform is feature-rich and features are working as expected. In addition, this position will support and drive sales operations activities and platform adoption across end-users and dealers.
Essential Position Duties:
- Develop and own the Digital Product development backlog, user stories and features roadmap
- Work with leadership and business stakeholders to draft project plans, time frames and prioritization while ensuring all stakeholder expectations are aligned
- Present and communicate features to multiple audiences
- Refine and elaborate/groom business requirements
- Develop/Write, elaborate/groom, approve and prioritize user stories and functionality to be built on the platform
- Lead sprint and release planning and coordinate in-sprint activities and adjustments as necessary
- Interface directly with internal and external IT and development teams (daily)
- Interface directly with dealers/sellers to support sales and service activities and platform adoption (weekly)
- Interface directly with marketing and other go-to-market teams to promote the platform and drive financial results (monthly)
- Maintain documentation of development, workflows, and requirements
- Cultivate feedback loops to understand user behavior, new requests, and improvement ideas
- Enhance overall digital commerce strategy
- Support digital quality assurance end-to-end efforts including test cases, test execution, and defect triage
- Advocate for business process improvements to support the overall digital commerce strategy
- Assist cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of projects and initiatives
- Participate and drive contract reviews as assigned
- Practice fiduciary responsibility
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Additional duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
- 7+ Years of Related Professional Experience
- Product Owner or Business Analyst Professional Certification is a plus (ex. PSPO, PBA, SAFe PO/PM, etc.)
