Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Performance Marketing Manager, you’ll manage our digital accounts and agency relationships and diversify our channel mix using paid search, paid social, affiliates, display, and programmatic channels. Through managing our campaign results, the Performance Marketing Manager will contribute to steering our North American commercial performance forward.

In this position, you can expect collaboration across several teams, including our eCommerce, marketing, and brand departments. The Performance Marketing Manager will focus operationally on the US and Canada and will also have the opportunity to contribute globally with some tasks.

This position will bring a creative and analytic approach to our paid search and display marketing strategy. You’ll be offered an opportunity to drive campaigns, optimize our ROI through our marketing activities, and collaborate with a team of data-obsessed, forward-thinking global marketing and eCommerce pros.

This position is based in Louisville, CO. You will report to the Director of E-commerce, North America. This position is with Fenix Outdoor, the parent company of our iconic Fjällräven brand; although most of the digital marketing focus will be on Fjällräven, this team member also supports our Hanwag and Royal Robbins brands.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Optimize the digital media budget across multiple digital channels to drive media efficiency and revenue growth. Channels not limited to but inclusive of SEA, paid social, video shopping, remarketing, shopping ads, programmatic, affiliates, leads acquisition, etc.
  • Use a full-funnel approach to create a premium brand user experience through a simpler and seamless customer journey; focus on how to drive customer engagement and relationship building, find organic and paid activity synergy, and ensure consistent and effective internal and external digital communications to make sure there is alignment and efficient execution.
  • Drive our digital marketing maturity transformation – lead organization development by running digital marketing audits, mapping out gaps, identifying investment & acceleration areas, and recommending how to operationalize it (data-driven marketing, audiences, automation)
  • Continuously optimize our channel mix to maximize results and ROI; analyze, allocate, and manage digital media investment; make recommendations and modifications to advertisement spending
  • Manage/own digital platforms and implement new setups, standardizations, or integrations for all related tools alongside our agency partners.
  • Spearhead efforts in refining our attribution model, manage our digital agencies to build efficient paid media strategies, and coordinate local activities across markets (i.e. scope of work, budget, etc.) and internal teams.
  • Establish a relationship with Meta, Google, and other platform partners and develop joint business and strategic plans for Fjällräven and Fenix portfolio brands.
  • Work toward targets aligned to both brand and sales strategies through supporting Brand and eCommerce activations (think KPIs like traffic, revenue, leads, CPA, ROAS, and more)
