Visit Kansas City Kansas is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist. This position is responsible for Digital Marketing initiatives including managing the destination website & e-marketing programs. This position helps develop marketing initiatives that promote and expand the Visit Kansas City Kansas brand. Responsibilities:

• Manage destination website & CRM system
• Create and optimize engaging content
• Assist in development of content calendar
• Manage e-marketing initiatives
• Work with various content formats such as blogs, videos, audio podcasts, etc.
• Implement, analyze and create reports on key metrics
• Maintain calendar of events, information and listings on Visit Kansas City Kansas and partner websites
• Write and edit marketing content for blog articles, website, publications, newsletters, brochures and fliers
• Provide support for marketing initiatives such as the KCK Taco Trail and KCK Legacy Trail

Qualifications:

• Experience managing and updating websites
• Experience using and updating CMS & CRM systems
• Familiar with marketing channels and online marketing strategies
• Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills
• Basic understanding of graphic design and video editing
• Knowledge of Google Analytics
• Creative minded with the ability to conceive interesting ideas for new content
• General knowledge of Kansas City KS and the entire KC metro area
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $51,000.00 per year
