CORPORATE & DIGITAL BANKING SPECIALIST

This critical position will support Outdoor Bank's Corporate Banking and Retail Online platforms. The position will also be an important resource for bank employees as a subject matter expert and will manage various other activities related to Corporate & Digital Banking clients.

Responsibilities and Expectations

▪ Critical support for all job functions in the ACH/Wire department including but not limited to ACH Origination, ACH Exception Processing, Online Banking Wire Fraud review and Wire Transfer Processing

▪ Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers initiated by both customers and branches within set deadlines of 15-minute SLAs

▪ Provide prompt and accurate service to bank personnel regarding requests, inquiries and issues concerning electronic payment services provided by the bank

▪ Research/Resolve ACH and Wire processing issues

▪ Research/Resolve customer inquiries presented to associates at various branch locations that need additional support

▪ Understanding of Wire and ACH processing according to the guidelines maintained in the bank’s Wire Transfer and ACH Policies and related Procedures

▪ Understanding of ACH processing rules for ODFI’s and RDFI’s including return timeframes, notification of change, error resolution and reclamations

▪ Understanding of Regulatory requirements related to ACH and Wire Transfers (including OFAC)

▪ Manage IntraFi Network daily investment needs and management reports – ICS and CDARS

▪ Provide Debit / Credit Card Client Support, including dispute processing

▪ Treasury Management and Retail Online Banking Operational Support

▪ Support Bill Pay clients

▪ Process Remote Deposit transactions

▪ Demonstrate subject matter expertise in Retail Operations along with rules and regulations related to account opening and maintenance

▪ Understand and provide the highest level of client experience for both internal and external clients

▪ Demonstrate operational soundness to minimize risk exposure or loss and maintain quality production

▪ Adhere to operating procedures and protocols

▪ Behave in a manner to create a welcoming, engaging, professional environment for clients and your team to experience

▪ Respond to routine client inquiries and requests in a timely manner and always with same day follow-through

Demonstrate Compliance with Applicable Laws and Regulations

▪ Understand and follow applicable laws and regulations for your job responsibilities, including but not limited to Bank Business Ethics and Conduct policy, Personnel Policy, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Information Security, Suspicious Activity Reporting requirements, policies, and procedures

▪ Actively work with clients to understand each client’s normal account activity, as appropriate for this position

▪ Remain current on all laws and bank regulations

▪ Complete all required compliance training on an annual and/or as needed basis

▪ Adhere to bank policies, processes and procedures

Required Skills & Education

▪ High School diploma or equivalent

▪ 2 – 5 years of experience in a financial institution

▪ Understanding of and experience with NACHA Rules and Requirements

▪ Customer service experience

▪ Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

▪ Computer proficiency in Windows-based system

▪ Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

▪ Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills

▪ Capable of working with a team

▪ Aptitude for math

▪ Ability to travel to other bank locations for training and staff coverage

Work Environment

This position always works in an office setting. To fulfill the job responsibilities, the employee must be onsite at their designated bank location. Most of the job duties require the employee to be working with computers and electronic media on a regular basis.

This Corporate & Digital Banking Specialist position will be primarily located in Outdoor Bank’s Manhattan, KS West branch location at 2401 Seth Child Rd. The position is non-exempt, full time and benefits eligible. Outdoor Bank is an equal opportunity employer.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
