About the role:
Vistar Media has created a 9-week program where students will gain hands-on working experience and knowledge about the advertising technology landscape, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with different departments within Vistar’s organization. We’re looking for college students who are passionate and eager about the innovative media industry.
We are looking for a creative and driven intern to join our Marketing team! As the Digital Marketing Intern, you'll be in charge of managing our social media presence, devising strategies to increase brand visibility and grow our online community. Beyond social media, you'll play a role in crafting compelling newsletters, optimizing our website and more.
This internship is not about fetching coffee, it's about making a real impact and gaining invaluable experience in the world of adtech and out-of-home. By joining our close-knit, collaborative team, you'll have the opportunity to think critically, tap into your creativity, and develop innovative ways to engage an audience. Our summer interns will work 3 days per week for the duration of the internship program and will be expected to be in the office.

What you'll do:
- Manage Vistar Media’s social media calendar, specifically LinkedIn.
- Work with marketing stakeholders to promote Vistar Media’s products and services; distribute blog posts, infographics, thought leadership content and press releases on social media
- Develop new strategies for growing our audience base and increasing channel engagement
- Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns; create compelling graphics to share.
- Perform social media marketing research; brainstorm and develop creative ideas for original content
- Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability; analyze analytics to gauge the success of campaigns
Who you are:
- A recent college graduate or current junior/senior, preferably studying Marketing, Advertising, or Business.
- Experienced in successfully managing and growing social media channels.
- Possess strong written skills; having taken a writing course is a plus.
- Exhibit a strong desire to learn and achieve results, with a keen attention to detail and deadlines.
- Proficient in using Google Drive, Microsoft Office, or similar programs.
- Able to work in the US for an indefinite period without sponsorship
- Able to come to the NYC office three days a week (relocation not offered)
