Seeking a Director of Digital Marketing to join our team in a rapidly growing industry.

  • Starting Salary: $115,000 per year (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

The Director of Digital Marketing will develop and execute cross-channel digital, web and social marketing strategies for Airo and our family of brands including Airo (vape) and Oria (edibles). You will be responsible for ideation, development and deployment of content and growth strategies across owned digital and social media channels. In addition, you will oversee and manage to budget our digital growth initiatives, including digital advertising, SEO/SEM, email marketing, SMS/text campaigns and how we partner with our retailers on digital point-of-sale and digital merchandising. You will work with internal cross-functional partners, as well as our creative agency partners to deliver content and campaigns in alignment with overall business goals. You will also collect and review digital & social media data to measure ROI and to develop more effective campaigns. This position will report to the VP of Marketing.

This position will work in collaboration with the Sales, Product Development, Customer Service, Operations and Finance Teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute omnichannel marketing strategies end-to-end from optimization to reporting.
  • Lead all digital advertising efforts, from vetting and contracting with ad tech platforms to budget setting, to partnering with Brand and Creative teams on ad creative
  • Develop and execute marketing strategy for third-party cannabis listing/ordering sites (I.e. Weedmaps, Leafly, I Heart Jane, Dutchie) to ensure our brand presence meets best in class performance, and adds value to our retail partners.
  • Work with our internal IT team to create and continually update best-in-class websites for both our Airo and Oria brands
  • Plan, develop and implement SEO strategies to improve our organic rankings and search traffic, and report performance on an ongoing basis.
  • Oversee a monthly Digital Marketing calendar that aligns with overall marketing initiatives and monthly wholesale + consumer promotions.
  • Work with the creative team and brand managers to develop campaign assets that align with our brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media and PR team to manage social media influencer relationships including coordination of campaigns, and reporting on performance.
  • Develop and analyze digital channel performance metrics to drive future marketing decisions.
  • Generate monthly reports and report performance of all Digital Marketing campaigns.

Expectations and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Strong knowledge of Digital Marketing tools (e.g. Web CMS, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • 10+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, websites and social media
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, etc.)
  • Track record of identifying, building, and delivering growth within a fast-moving organization.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media campaigns
  • Experience working with third party and ecommerce platforms.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skill set with ability to interpret quantitative data.
  • Strong communication skills (exceptional listening skills, persuasive and professional communicator)
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills
  • Genuine interest in and passion for the cannabis industry
  • Prior cannabis industry experience is a strong plus
