McGuff Company, Inc. was established in 1972 and is a family- and veteran-owned business. McGuff is a leading provider of wholesale medical supplies, pharmaceutical manufacturer and producer of our own proprietary, FDA-approved ascorbic acid injection, ASCOR®. We’re also in the process of launching our new 503B outsourcing facility to produce compounded drugs.
As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you will work closely with our in-house marketing team to elevate the McGuff brand by managing our comprehensive online product catalog and showcasing our products to their maximum potential. With thousands of products, it is an important responsibility as it directly correlates to our customer experience, company’s reputation and ultimately increased sales.
The ideal candidate for this role knows how to manage an e-commerce website and has impeccable attention to detail. When assessing a product page, they can quickly see how to improve it, as well as have the confidence to take the initiative decisively. They must demonstrate accuracy in spelling, numbers, product specifications, variants, photos, etc. They must have experience with a variety of technology and the ability to learn new software, in addition to being creative and collaborative.
The day-to-day tasks will center around keeping our online product catalog up-to-date, complete, accurate and compelling to provide our customers with an outstanding shopping experience, in addition to increasing our SEO performance. Assessing, compiling and reporting on website metrics is also an important job function so we can continually monitor and adjust our marketing strategy.
Essential Functions and Duties:
· Audit product pages for continual updates and improvements
· Ensure accurate data entry of product information, SKUs and pricing using supplier data to maintain our online medical supplies catalog
· Collaborate with marketing team on product pages and other Digital Marketing projects
· Adhere to best practices for SEO, UX and CX
· Compile, assess and report on website performance metrics
· Leverage data from reports and internal tools to improve web presence
· Assist with content marketing and digital advertising campaigns
· Complete other duties as assigned
Professional Qualifications:
· Digital marketing experience, ideally in e-commerce
· Data entry with impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
· Knowledge of SEO, UX, CX and product photography best practices
· Multi-tasking and project management abilities
· Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
· Solid problem-solving skills: ability to work independently and adapt to changing project needs
· Ability to troubleshoot website functionality issues
· Ability to communicate professionally, confidently and concisely, both written and verbally
· Self-motivated, responsive and dedicated to driving success
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Enthusiastic contributor who can work well independently and on a team
· Adaptable to project requirements and willing to embrace change
· Results-driven and focused approach to completion of assigned tasks
