Digital Marketing And Social Media Intern

Job Summary

As a Digital Marketing and Social Media Intern for the Parisi Speed School Corporate office, you will work directly under the Director of Brand Marketing to assist with website maintenance, Social Media and email marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Social Media
• Create written, graphic, and video content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok that drives engagement / sales / branding
• Engage with comments and messages in a timely manner
• Analyze and report on campaign results
• Website
• Create and update pages and products
• Assist with user management and program enrollment
• Escalate any technical issues to development team as needed
• Email Marketing
• Develop copy and creative for sales-generating email marketing campaigns
• Compile content and stories for monthly email newsletter
• Analyze and report on campaign results
• Misc.
• Monitor customer service inbox and address inquiries accordingly

The ideal candidate…

• Knowledgeable in basic Digital Marketing principles
• Familiar with major Social Media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok etc.)
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Highly organized and excels at planning and time management
• Self-starter with ability to work independently
• Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
• Excellent with written and verbal communication
• Experience with Wordpress or other CMS platforms (not required)
• Basic photography, image and video editing, and graphic design skills (Canva)
• Bonus points if you have an athletic background and/or an interest in sports

Job Requirements & Compensation:

Start Date: March 4, 2024

This is a 5-month remote, paid position with 2 months of training (~10 hours per week) and a unique opportunity to manage day-to-day marketing operations for the following 3-month period (~ 20 hours per week) while the Director of Brand Marketing is on leave. Compensation begins at $20/hour.

Working hours are flexible, but will include daily tasks. Social media management may require some engagement through the weekend.

Parisi Corporate is headquartered from Fair Lawn, NJ. Local residence in the tri-state area is preferred, but not required.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
• Previous internship in a communications or marketing capacity is preferred
• Fitness industry experience is a plus

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
