Data & Analytics leverages business intelligence gained through advanced data analytics in order to maximize AARP's marketing and communications results. This includes using data science, data engineering, predictive modeling, and market analytics to guide data-driven decision making.

As the Digital Marketing Analytics Manager in the Data Analytics Group at AARP, your focus is on gathering, analyzing, and sharing marketing data and insights to enhance membership marketing performance. Demonstrating decisive acumen and proven analytical skills, you will engage daily with business leaders, data scientists, and campaign managers.

Your responsibilities include consulting with management to discuss marketing data insights and trends. Identifying opportunities for improving marketing execution, testing solutions, attribution models, and conducting business analysis and forecasting.
Responsibilities:
  • Develops and oversees digital and offline campaign tracking requirements.
  • Manages data quality control, classification, and upload to database/CMS platforms. Designs cross-team campaign templates, processes, and / or procedures and performs peer quality controls.
  • Develops and completes all ad hoc, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting deliverables. Provides analysis for optimization of marketing spend and other strategic issues.
  • Collaborates with marketing teams to share insights & learnings with providers.
  • Manages campaign process including executing timely and accurate campaign files, count requests, reporting and analyses.
  • Gather and interpret data to develop actionable steps to improve digital experiences and optimize business performance. Identifies and explores opportunities for expanding data sources and/or custom models.
  • Analyzes data for multiple enterprise-wide priorities including digital member behavior, content consumption, marketing campaigns, test and learn campaigns, and audience targeting and optimization efforts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with Digital Marketing and/or audience-based marketing.
  • Must have held a prior role in a Marketing Analytics function.
  • Demonstrated successful performance in developing and managing business partner relationships.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and drive results, showcasing a proactive and action-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively with both people and data; proficiency in preparation and presentation of proposals, analytical reports, and documents regarding programs’ operational status, achievement and performance.
Preferred:
  • MBA or MS in statistics or marketing.
  • Consulting/agency background experience.
  • Certifications relevant to the data engineering or visualization aspects of the following tools/platforms: Databricks, Tableau, Funnel.io, Adobe Analytics, Google Campaign Manager and Google Marketing Platform products preferred.
  • SQL, Python, or equivalent coding skills are preferred.

Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA)
AARP observes Mondays and Fridays as telecommuting workdays, except for essential functions. Remote work and telecommuting can only be done within the United States and its territories.
