Job Overview:
The Digital Marketing and Web Experience Manager is a comprehensive role responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies, managing the company’s website for optimal user experience, leveraging WordPress, and overseeing the company’s presence on social media platforms. This role encompasses the management of relationships with external agencies, the negotiation of contracts, the enhancement of SEO performance, the creation and management of content, and the strategic use of social media, including the management of social media influencers. The Manager will use tools like Canva for graphic design, conceptualize and post content on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, ensuring seamless collaboration between internal teams and external partners to achieve marketing and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Agency Sourcing and Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and select marketing agencies and other external partners to support digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, content creation, graphic design, and social media management.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with agencies, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with company objectives.
SEO and Content Management:
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility and traffic.
- Oversee the creation and editing of digital content, ensuring it aligns with SEO best practices and company branding.
- Utilize tools like Canva for the creation of visually appealing graphic content for use across various digital channels.
Social Media Management:
- Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, including conceptualizing and posting engaging content.
- Manage relationships with social media influencers, coordinating campaigns that align with the company's marketing strategies and brand image.
- Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies to maintain engagement and grow the audience.
Collaborative Team Leadership:
- Facilitate collaboration between internal teams, external agencies, and social media influencers to achieve marketing goals.
- Ensure clear communication and effective management of expectations and deliverables.
Website Management and User Experience:
- Oversee the company's website, focusing on design, functionality, and content, using WordPress.
- Implement UI/UX best practices to optimize site navigation and user engagement.
- Coordinate with graphic designers to ensure the website's visual content aligns with brand standards and enhances user experience.
Digital Marketing Strategy Execution:
- Develop and manage comprehensive digital marketing campaigns, incorporating SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, graphic design, and influencer partnerships.
- Source new tools and technologies to enhance digital marketing efforts and track their ROI.
Analytics and Performance Measurement:
- Monitor and analyze digital campaign, website, and social media performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on data-driven analysis.
Automation and Technology Integration:
- Use tools like Zapier to automate workflows and integrate digital platforms.
- Stay updated on new technologies and tools that can enhance digital marketing efforts, including advancements in SEO, content management, graphic design, and social media management.
Budget and Resource Allocation:
- Manage the digital marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to various initiatives and external agencies.
- Oversee the sourcing of new tools and technologies that offer cost-effective solutions for digital marketing needs.
Market Research and Trends:
- Keep abreast of digital marketing trends, web design advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices in SEO, copywriting, graphic design, and social media management.
Internal Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Business Development and Strategic Partnerships Manager and other departments to align digital marketing strategies with broader business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Web Design, or related field.
- Extensive experience in digital marketing with expertise in website management, WordPress, UI/UX design, SEO, content management, and social media management.
- Proven track record in sourcing and managing external agencies, negotiating contracts, overseeing content creation, graphic design projects, and managing social media influencer relationships.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including proficiency in Zapier, SEO tools, Canva, content management systems, and social media analytics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
