Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as aDigital Engagement Specialist.
The Digital Engagement Specialist is responsible for implementing support site strategies and initiatives to engage in meaningful exchanges and create lasting relationships with customers. In this key role, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop written, video, and visual content that drives user engagement and education on our products. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing end-to-end content for a social media, support sites, reviews, health, wellness, or education service.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Digital Engagement Specialist
Reputation Management
  • Make strategic recommendations on how to respond and craft thoughtful responses
  • Respond to negative comments
  • Identify emerging trends and strategies
  • Monitor trends and applications for adoption
  • Be prepared to become an expert. Be ready to answer technical or strategy questions at any moment.

Project Management
  • Track department projects and assure timely or early completion to accommodate deadlines in regards to Digital Engagement.
  • Coordinate project deliverables and deadlines with other internal stakeholder or departments.

Listening/Sentiment Analysis
  • Monitor the sentiment of communications toward or regarding brands, products, competition, or industry.
  • Report on status or changes in sentiment in regular reporting, or sooner if a notable change in sentiment occurs.
  • Monitor the web for mentions and interactions that involve and/ or are relevant to our brands and products.
  • Report and appropriately engage within the strategic guidelines laid out in the strategic planning documents.
  • Ongoing feedback on insights gained from social media monitoring.

Reporting/Analyze
  • Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
  • Gather relevant data points from multiple sources for use in producing reporting documents.
  • Provide account feedback for analysis and accountability for account results and achievements.
  • Perform regular analysis of results and performance of ongoing marketing campaigns. Identify new metrics and tools in monitoring and spotting trends and measuring results.

Content Management
  • Make edits on website platforms, content management systems, and basic HTML.

Innovation
  • Display original thinking and creativity; meet challenges with resourcefulness; generate suggestions for improving work; develop innovative approaches and ideas; present ideas and information in a manner that gets others' attention.

Sharing/Knowledge Transfer
  • Continuously share insights, tips and other elements learned with others.
  • Become a catalyst to an environment of sharing knowledge and stories of success and industry case studies that broaden our thinking and push our boundaries.

Presentation and Communication Skills
  • Confidence creating and delivering presentations to clients and prospects
  • Possess the ability to articulate and educate about media trends, habits and behaviors on an ongoing basis
  • Keep client apprised of best practices

Implement SEO strategies
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to optimize website content and improve organic search rankings;
  • Optimize website pages, meta tags, and descriptions with relevant keywords and compelling copy.

Desired Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Technology or a technical discipline;
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and delivery department efforts to achieve program objectives;
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills - you use data and metrics to back up assumptions, test hypotheses, and evaluate results;
  • Ability to balance the ideal operational state with doing what it takes to deliver on goals;
  • Prior experience with web analytics, SEO and A|B testing;
  • Demonstrates technical acumen, with broad knowledge of technical trends and new solutions;
  • Proven experience in building and managing stakeholder and team member relationships at all levels;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong management skills with a professional attitude;
  • Ability to work with structured development methodologies with an emphasis on an iterative approach;
  • Possess thorough knowledge of online, mobile and all other services, iOS, Android and other mobile online software applications;
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal direction.
  • Experience with a CRM preferably Salesforce
