Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Recommend non dv Sales targets, integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices.
  • Become a subject matter expert and trusted client advisor for the Intuitive Digital products for dV and non-dV room (enterprise wide).
  • Building strong relationships with IT through constant communication, being the one dedicated point of contact between implementation phases.
  • Identify and build IT key opinion leaders. Driving belief and highlighting success stories to the Us Digital Marketing Team.
  • Build x number of digital reference sites per quarter.
  • Drive adoption and utilization of digital solutions through targeting, customer support, and continuous consultation with customers on functionality and benefit.
  • Drive continuous expansion and development of the digital user base by working with key surgeon thought leaders and other key customers to develop a qualified lead funnel.
  • Partner with Key Account, Clinical and Capital teams to identify digital solution leads and develop targeted customer strategy.
  • Engage with prospective customers via video meeting, email, and phone to understand their needs and communicate the value of our digital solutions.  In-person meetings may be required as needed. 
  • Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams in the corporate office to understand assigned business and needs.
  • Partner with teams to ensure success of regional and virtual market development events, trade shows, and other industry activities.
  • Achieve daily goals and monthly targets of outbound calls, lead engagements, meetings, and qualified opportunities. Use Salesforce.com to organize activities, manage pipeline and report territory progress.
  • Responsibly manage administrative tasks, reporting, outcomes of support activities, submission of expense reports, etc.
  • Understand where there are gaps and need for additional support.
  • Help resolve customer challenges through weekly meetings and touch points.
  • Lead advanced training post go live to increase surgeon and OR staff adoption and utilization.
  • Identify and nurture relationships with, surgeon champions, OR staff, hospital IT and where appropriate hospital Executives to drive best practices, effect utilization of the product.
  • Provide monthly key metrics to internal stakeholders (commercial sales teams, DST, etc) for integration into infrastructure story, ABAM, QTI etc.
Qualifications

Core Competencies, Skills, and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing and selling technical and clinical systems to hospitals in North America.
  • Medical or software business development experience preferred.
  • Experienced working with key opinion makers and decision makers in hospitals in Surgery, Robotic Surgery and Endoscopy. 
  • Deep understanding of clinical workflows in the OR (Surgery, Endoscopy)
  • Understands the basis of HL7, PACS (picture archival and communications), DICOM, EPIC interfaces, etc.
  • Result-driven with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Languages - Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Good technical product orientation and IT understanding.
  • Advanced technical degree in engineering or life science- preferred.
  • Ability to communicate and present ideas clear, concise, and compelling to internal teams and customer-facing stakeholders (surgeons, nurse managers, hospital C-suite leadership).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary.
  • Carry self-directed approach to meet project/team goals with minimal supervision.
  • Great time management proficiency and detailed organization approach.
  • Hospitals require updated immunizations to enter operating room environments.
  • Must attend CAST.
  • Ability to travel.
