Job description

Sentara Health is currently hiring a Digital Media Customer Experience Advisor for the Digital Innovation team!

This is a full-time position with day shift hours and excellent benefits!

The position is located in VA with a REMOTE opportunity – work from home is available only in these states:

Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in business, marketing, public relations, communications, digital media, digital journalism, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience with digital marketing, information technology, and public relations.
  • Ability to self-manage and lead projects from conception to completion; Project Management.
  • Understanding of web and mobile design, applications, and navigation.
  • Experience developing and managing digital solutions and digital products; digital product management.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, SEO, and local search.
  • Digital Customer Experience; CX, UX, and digital marketing skills across mobile/web/social media channels required.
  • Understanding and active use of Microsoft Office, Adobe Design Suite, and other technology tools and platforms, graphic design programs (such as Photoshop), and computer video editing software.
  • Experience using a content management system (CMS) such as WordPress, and other digital tools for analytics, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc. to analyze and track consumer behavior.
  • Data Analysis, data visualization, and report writing skills required.
  • Comfortable in a multitasking-oriented environment. Some travel is required.

Responsibilities

Leads development and execution of digital strategy and user experience across web, social, and mobile channels aligned with the company's strategic plan and initiatives. Partners with teams across the growing company in the development of innovative digital solutions that align with strategic market goals and initiatives, digital trends, and technology. Educates and advises others on the appropriate use of digital solutions for Customer Experience design incorporating the voice of the customer, persona development, customer journey mapping, product/service development, and design and market segmentation in support of customer acquisition and development.

This role supports the Sentara-branded Digital Customer Experience with responsibility for projects/disciplines related to the Sentara website (Sentara.com) and related digital channels, products, and features. This role also advises marketing and business/operations colleagues on digital solutions and tactics.
