Argonne National Laboratory, one of the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) major research centers, is pleased to announce opportunities for college and university undergraduate students to join the Argonne Team as an intern in its Communications and Public Affairs department.
ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP:
- Assist with website redesigns and content management, existing content enhancement, and development of new content
- Assist with a range of digital channels including mass email, surveys, and social media
- Assist with measurement of website and social media channels
- Look for ways to boost engagement across digital communications channels
Education and Experience Requirements
This opportunity is open to any graduate or undergraduate student with relevant experience who meets the following criteria:
- Must be currently enrolled full-time at an accredited institution.
- Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Completed freshman year of college and possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- If accepting an offer, must pass a screening drug test.
- Knowledge of communications and marketing.
- Majors: Communications, Marketing, Digital Communications, or similar derived from other experience.
- A desire to participate in a dynamic work environment with competing deadlines.
- Ability to be highly motivated and self-starting
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
This position is intended to be hybrid, actual schedule will be determined upon hire.
