Digital Content Creator & Social Media Assistant

The Mane Attraction is an e-commerce cosmetic brand looking for a Content Creator to support our marketing initiatives. The Content Creator will be responsible for developing high-quality videos for Social Media channels such as TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Ads and more. To do so, they will learn all about and make significant contributions to The Mane Attraction’s branding and style guide to efficiently maximize the impact of content they generate. They will understand the successes and challenges of content from our market competitors and will use their own creativity to bring the brand's visions and goals to life.

Objectives of this role

• Maximize consumer engagement with marketing content
• Share insights on competitor marketing content
• Develop The Mane Attraction’s marketing and branding presence throughout all Social Media channels
• Encourage collaboration to unify marketing output
• Improve The Mane Attraction’s search engine optimization (SEO) presence
• Widen The Mane Attraction’s marketing reach

Responsibilities

• Post on all Social Media channels daily (Tiktok, Pinterest, Youtube, Instagram & Facebook)
• Use SEO best practices to drive traffic to The Mane Attraction’s digital channels
• Collaborate across teams to determine and solve campaign objectives
• Monitor digital engagement metrics
• Promote company offerings to reach new audiences
• Research market trends and developments relevant to campaign subject matter
• Aid with the visual design of promotional materials
• Create graphics using editing software
• Create, edit, and publish Social Media content
• Work alongside a team to increase brand awareness

Skills and qualifications

• Outstanding copywriting, Social Media, or video production skills
• Strong knowledge of SEO best practices
• Analytical and goal-oriented
• Creative and driven
• Ability to work effectively without oversight
• Confident written and verbal communication skills
• Superb organizational and time-management abilities
• High degree of computer literacy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
